Privacy Policy
1. Data we handle
- Photos you upload. Each one is converted to a standard image format when it arrives, which strips embedded data such as camera details or GPS location; the original file is discarded.
- The clip made from them.
- A cookie with a random ID that lets this browser find its drafts, finished clips and credit balance for up to 30 days. No name or email is ever requested.
- Payment results from Stripe: success or failure, amount, currency and Stripe reference numbers. Never card details.
- Basic product events such as “photo added” or “clip downloaded”, tied to the anonymous session and containing no photos, clip links or email addresses.
- How you arrived: campaign tags on your first landing link (such as utm_source) and the referring site without its query string. We store it in our own cookie for 30 days, copy it onto your session once a clip begins and include it in the Stripe checkout.
- Google Analytics readings: which pages were opened, the kind of device and browser, a rough location guessed from the IP address, and the product events listed above.
- Server logs and error records needed to run and secure the site.
- Anything you send us when you contact support, including your email address.
2. Why we use it
- To make, store for a short time and deliver your clip.
- To take payment, keep credit balances accurate and return credits after a failed render.
- To detect abuse, enforce the Acceptable Use Policy and keep the site secure.
- To spot, across all visitors combined, the steps that cause trouble, and fix them.
We do not sell personal data. Photos and clips are never used for advertising or to train models.
3. Processors that receive your photos
Your photos go to Kie, one of our AI providers, together with our fixed scene instructions. Kie stores copies on its own file host and runs Google’s Nano Banana Pro to build the still image. That still and the reference audio are then sent to fal.ai, which runs ByteDance’s OmniHuman to animate it; if fal.ai cannot finish, Kie runs the same model once instead. Processing may take place in other countries, and each provider applies its own terms and retention periods, which we do not control. The deletion times below cover storage we operate.
Stripe handles payments and applies its own privacy notice. Google provides traffic statistics under its terms and only ever sees a random clip ID. Our web host, database host and file storage provider process data solely as we direct.
4. Retention
- Uploaded photos: deleted within 24 hours after their render ends, whether it succeeded, failed or was cancelled.
- Drafts that never started and unused uploads: deleted within 24 hours of creation.
- Finished clips: deleted seven days after they are ready.
- Session and referral cookies: expire after 30 days.
- Google Analytics cookies: may stay in your browser for as long as two years, while Google holds our reports for 14 months at most.
- Records of payments and credits: retained while bookkeeping rules, tax law, fraud checks or other legal duties call for them.
5. Who can see a clip
Only people you choose. Nothing is listed publicly, and a clip page refuses every visitor except the session that paid for it, so posting its URL reveals nothing. To show someone, send them the downloaded MP4 or the save link, and keep that link among people you trust.
6. Your choices and rights
- If you do not upload, no session cookie is set; the generator needs one to work.
- Tracking protection in your browser, an ad blocker, or Google’s add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout will stop Google Analytics; the generator works either way.
- You can clear cookies at any time, though earlier drafts and clips will no longer open here.
- You may ask what personal data we hold about you or request earlier deletion. Since there are no accounts, including the clip page address helps us find it.
7. Children
The service is for adults only. Photos of anyone under 18 are not allowed.
8. Security and updates
Photos and clips sit in non-public storage and are handed only to their owner’s session. Because no setup is perfect, our strongest protection is to hold little and erase it soon. Any update to this policy comes with a new date at the top.
