Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated October 29, 2026

1. Allowed photos

  • Photos of yourself, or of an adult who knowingly agreed to sing lead or backup in your clip.
  • Do not use a clip to mock, embarrass or pressure someone who did not agree to it.
  • Images taken from websites or social profiles, shot without permission, or owned by someone else are not allowed.
  • Characters, mascots, logos and trademarks of others, including the NPR and Tiny Desk marks, are not allowed.

2. Prohibited content

  • Anyone under 18.
  • Celebrities, musicians, athletes, coaches, politicians or any other public figure, or anyone you intend to impersonate.
  • Nudity, or sexual material in any form.
  • Clips designed to harass, bully, threaten or scare someone.
  • Content that attacks people for who they are.
  • Impersonation, fake endorsements, fraud, misinformation, or anything staged to look like a real performance or broadcast.
  • Violence, cruelty, criminal activity, or content that violates someone else’s rights.
  • Hacking, overloading, scraping or bypassing the site’s limits and protections.

3. Posting your clip

Stick to the posting app’s rules, AI disclosure settings included. Never pass the clip off as genuine footage, as an NPR production, or as anything released by the performers or the meme’s first creator.

Every file carries an AI-generated tag in its metadata. Do not remove it.

4. Enforcement

Our providers run automated safety checks on each render that reject, among other things, explicit images and recognisable public figures. Reports and takedown requests are reviewed by people. We may reject uploads, cancel renders, block access or inform authorities where the law requires. Automated checks miss things and the consent box is not a verification, so you remain responsible for what you upload.

Credits used on a blocked render are returned once, as described in the Refund Policy. Repeated or serious abuse may lead to access being restricted.

5. Reporting

Seen yourself in one of our clips without agreeing to it, spotted a rule being broken, or hold rights in the concert, the song or the name? Email the address below, describe what you found and where, and we will act on the takedown quickly.
